| Rosemarie Morelli Crocker |
| Rosemarie Morelli Crocker is a Boston School Painter with a teaching lineage that traces back to Jean-Léon Gérôme through R. H. Ives Gammell, Edmund Tarbell, Frank Benson, William Paxton and their predecessors of the mid 1800s Barbizon School and the Académie Julian, Paris.
Since 1980, Rosemarie developed her own contemporary style of surreal images during her career as a commercial illustrator and graphic designer for major corporate and non-profit organizations in the finance, commercial real estate, healthcare, publication and music industries. While her solo and juried exhibitions of paintings were shown in numerous galleries and venues, a following of growing collectors were set in motion who would commission Rosemarie’s paintings and murals. Her beautifully rendered works culminate from the genres of neoclassicism, impressionism and surrealism.
Rosemarie paints plein air landscapes and dreamy, metaphorical images that are inspired by the elements of our natural world and spiritual ideals. She creates her images to convey an underlying theme of “seeking the light and beauty in all” and it is her intention that each painting satisfy the soul’s desire for positive affirmations and contemplation.
